Gudjohnsen says he is ready for the challenge to play for Europe's best football team. He signed a four year contract and was purchased for 12 million Euros. Gudjohnsen's former team Chelsea and Barcelona reach an agreement about the amount and Gudjohnsen took the next flight to Barcelona to sign the papers and attend a press conference.
